It took us a bit longer to get this version released because the first ad network SDK we tried possibly did some funny stuff with our private information. We didn't like that one bit. Our current advertising partner Greystripe has a pretty standard privacy policy. We have snooped communications from our App with the Greystripe SDK and not seen any transmissions we considered out of the ordinary.
